This paper studies the cylindrical magnetorheological brake design for two wheelers. Braking torque is needed to be maximized by reducing the weight of magnetorheological brake. The effect of structural properties of brake material, magnetorheological fluid properties, different types of magnetorheological fluid, effect of particle size, effective working surface, composition of magnetorheological fluid, temperature, magnetic properties of brake material, magnetic field strength on braking torque, etc. are investigated and braking performance is evaluated.
