Abstract

Copper oxide nanoparticle was synthesized by a simple method. Consequently, adsorbent was characterized by using FTIR, XRD, and SEM techniques. The study of optimized parameter contains pH, initial dye concentration, adsorbent dose and contact time. Langmuir, Freundlich and Tempkin models were pragmatic for evaluating adsorption equilibrium data of AB 10B as the adsorbent but experiment show the Langmuir model is best for it. The adsorption kinetic model study was done by using pseudo-first-order; pseudo-second-order and intra-particle diffusion but pseudo-second-order equation better describe the adsorption kinetic. Also, thermodynamic parameters such as ΔH, ΔS, ΔG show the adsorbent is feasible, endothermic and spontaneous in nature.
