An experimental study of Resistance Spot Welding with CRCA sheet

Resistance Spot Welding is prime process in automotive industries for joining metal sheets. Different materials are used for making automobile body. Now-a-days, cold rolled closed annealed(CRCA) sheets are used. In this paper, CRCA sheets for 1 mm. thickness is used for experimentation. D.O.E. is used and Input-output parameters are taken according to AWS D8.9M:2012 standard. Results are compared and final result having optimum output parameter is selected.
