Project management is the process and task of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources, procedures, and protocols to achieve specific goals in scientific or daily problems. In the construction world, it is crucial to monitor project management because each project has its duration and every contractor needs to complete the project within the given time. Moreover, exceeding the duration given will cause the penalty to the contractor which in turn will cause him loss. In any construction project, there are a large number of tasks involved. The construction project managers have a hard time monitoring the projects between the site and office. They have to come on site to know the development of work and decide the order of work. The managers are confused on what to do next or the looming changes that they will face in the future. Therefore, the cost involved in project management is large and it varies with respect to the finishing of the project. On site, the project manager will use specific software to control and monitor the site progress like Microsoft Project, Primavera, and many more. Microsoft Project is a project management software program developed and sold by Microsoft, which is designed to assist a project manager in developing a plan, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing budget, and analyzing workloads. This research will introduce a web based geography information system to monitor and handle all the schedule of site progress. GIS is an application system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of spatial or geographical data. GIS has the ability to show the location and compile the attribute of the site progress which will help the project manager to check the site's daily routine.References
