Analysis of G+6 Diagrid building to Rectangular building
Abstract
Now a days the various types of building are used in our growing area like conventional building, tall building and diagrid building. But with demanding of building structures are also leads to demand of heavy structure durability and their strength. So this is very important to design building very effectively and durable. The diagrid elements in building is give strengthen to our building. And in present scenario this is very necessary that our structure is capable to bear maximum loads and also aesthetic point of view the building should be good in appearance. The present study motive is based on seismic analysis of diagrid building and compare with rectangular building. Here G+6 storey building has analyzed for both with diagrid element and without diagrids. The software is used STAAD PRO. Seismic response of buildings results are compare in terms of storey drift, base shear and natural time period. and conclude that the storey displacement, base shear and natural time period values in diagrid structure are less as compare to rectangular structure.
