Abstract
Concrete is essential construction material, since it is brittle in nature so the addition of steel fiber provides some ductility to the composite also the replacement of cement with other cementitious materials gives both environmental and economical benefit. Sometimes in adverse conditions concrete has to face some chemical attacks which affect the durability of concrete. This paper deals with the detailed literature review and explores the techniques to find the strength, durability and effects of chemical attacks on concrete.
Keywords: Strength, durability, chemical attacks
