Study on High Rise (G+32) Cluster Shaped Building Under Earthquake with the help of IS 1893, UBC-97 and ASCE 7-10 codal provisions
Abstract
Modern high-rises, in low seismicity areas, are designed to withstand lateral loads.While high rise buildings would suffer structural damage, the shaking produced by the earthquake is a long period of slow shaking.The stability and stiffness of any structure is the major issue of concern in any high-rise buildings.This research is related to comparison of high rise G+32 cluster shape building under Seismic area with the help of different country codes The analysis was conducted as per the specifications of IS standards IS-1893, UBC-97, ASCE 7-10 using ETAB. The comparative study includes building model time periods, base shear, displacement, story drift and story stiffness.
