Comparative Analysis of Ordinary Concrete and Bacterial Concrete
Abstract
In present study, we observe the cracking in concrete is one of the major problem in the concrete structures. It is a common problem in concrete structure and then we further study on the bacteria that heals the cracks of concrete structure or it can heal the crack itself. This technique is advanced and very effective for smart structures that will heals by itself. It will also enhance the properties of concrete structure. Therefore it is very effective method to adopt for concrete structure. So in our work, a comparison has been made between ordinary and bacterial concrete on the basis of compressive strength, flexural strength and durability. And we get better strength and all the properties of bacterial concrete is far better than the ordinary concrete. Therefore it is very best and effective method for the cracking problem in the concrete structure.
Keywords: Cracking, bacterial concrete, strength, and E.coli bacteria etc.
