Detection of LPG using AVR Microcontroller

Anshu Malik, Amit Sharma

Abstract

Abstract
This paper deals with the designing of a system for the detection of the presence of LPG leakage. This device detects the leakage of gas at any place that could be in a car, in service station, storage tank or in a home. As the device sense the gas leakage, buzzer generates a high-volume signal with LED turn ON, and notification to user mobile. The sensor not only sense the LPG leakage, but also sense propane, LNG and cigarette like harmful smoke too.

Keywords: LPG leakage, 89c52 IC, MQ-5 LPG sensor, GSM.
