Abstract

Abstract

This paper depicts a design for one of the big problems everyone face while driving. We humans can feel drowsiness while driving which leads to road accidents. According to a media report, 4.61 lakh road accidents were reported in India during 2018 this data requires our attention. This paper presents a solution for the same and a proposed solution for the detection drowsiness condition when the driver feels sleepy which can lead to undesired situation. The proposed technique will be helpful to reduce the number of accidents that occur due to fatigue/sleepy condition. In this approach we have used IR based eye blink sensor for detecting drowsiness, MQ 3 for sensing alcohol, GSM and GPS for sending the driver’s information in case of accidents.
