Abstract

The process of removing unwanted physical and chemical pollutants from water is known as water purification. Water purification system proposed in this project focus on providing eco-friendly pathogen free water at low-cost Various methods for water filtration are available, but they are not economically viable for rural residents. The proposed system is made up of a mix of natural materials such as sand, coarse aggregate, and chemicals. It's a good way to get rid of hazardous germs from water. This method can be made portable, cost effective and energy efficient which will be self-sufficient to meet the water needs. The Physio-Chemical parameters of the water samples are tested. After running the water through the filter, the findings were found to be within the allowed limits for drinking and domestic use. The goal of this project was to create a "Low Cost Water Purifier." Because it may be utilised in rural households, the designed low-cost water purifier can be proven to be both cost-effective and efficient.
