Study of Green Roof Tops in India

Bharat Pokarlal Mali, Praveen Shivpujan Maurya

Abstract

The goal is a testament to the general public, professionals and government institutions of the benefits that green roofs have on quality of life in an urban environment in India. It willfocus on the significance of green roofs as insulating material and their role in mitigating the carbon footprint of the buildings through a drastic reduction of energy inputs for their conditioning alongside the management of storm-water.
