Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna With Rectangular Patch
Abstract
DRAs are used for 5G communications of huge bandwidth from millimeter to Terahertz. high facts charge is performed through the channel ability i.e. C=Blog2(1+SNR) where C is the channel capacity and B is the bandwidth of the channel. The cylindrical resonator antenna operating in hybrid HEM11 mode. in this paper a cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA) with frequency range (26GHz).The cylindrical dielectric resonator with radius r=1.45mm and height h=1.4mm. the CDRA cloth is alumina ceramic with a permittivity of ε DRA is 9.9 and the resonant frequency is fr=25GHz. The substrate used is Rogers RT 5880 with tan⸹=zero.0009 and εr=2.2 , the thickness is 1.52mm. The CDRA is happy through square micro strip patch thru circular slot, the CDRA is coupled electromagnetically by means of this rectangular patch that is beneath the substrate, we have a ground plane with annealed alumina so we have no radiation or low beneath the substrate all the radiation is in top of the CDRA. The proposed antenna is simulated using ANSYS HFSS software and the designed antenna may be used for 5G applications and we can remember huge MIMO antenna array configurations. This layout analysis the parameters of rectangular patch fed CDRA.
