Comparative Physico-chemical Analysis of River Water and Pond Water in Summer Season of Rewa City (M.P.)
Abstract
In this research, we present the study of comparative physico-chemical analysis of River Behar water and Rani pond water of Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh state, India. The variable data of samples are within prescribed limits as suggested by World Health Organization (WHO), Indian standard (ISI) and BIS desirable limit for drinking water for drinking purpose. Yearly variation in physical and chemical parameters like temperature, turbidity, color, odor, taste, pH, total hardness, calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg+2), total alkalinity, chloride (Cl-), nitrate (NO3-), total dissolved solid (TDS) etc. in all types of water. Data were analyzed for a period of year 2015 in summer season. Parameters were found in some limits.
