A Module to Connect Different Sensors to The Existing Varun Main Controller Device

Kashyap Joshi, T D Pawar

Abstract

This research paper presents the development of a sensor interface module that expands the data acquisition capabilities of existing Varun main controller devices. Traditional agriculture frequently makes decisions based on past performance, which can result in inefficiencies and have an adverse effect on the environment. By utilizing sensor technology and data analysis, precision agriculture presents a possible option. This method gathers real-time data on a range of agricultural factors by using sensor networks and information and communication technology (ICT). Farmers may improve resource allocation and eventually increase production and environmental sustainability by gaining useful insights into the needs of their crops through data analysis. This module acts as a bridge, allowing the connection of various agricultural sensors to the Varun controller. By collecting real-time data on crucial environmental parameters like soil moisture, temperature, and nutrient levels, the system empowers farmers to embrace data-driven smart agriculture practices. This approach leads to optimized resource utilization, improved crop yields and ultimately, a more sustainable agricultural future.
