A vortex tube cooling system has been designed and constructed in order to make a performance test. To be serve the effect of various parameters on performance several number of vortex tubes have been constructed throughout this work. These vortex tubes have been tested at various parameters to make comparison between them. The flow analysis inside a vortex tube is highly complex mainly due to 3D flow structure involving secondary flow, cavitations and unsteadiness. By applying CFD techniques, different investigations on vortex tube can be carried out like performance prediction at design and off-design conditions, parametric study. The model was created by using CATIA V5 modeling software. Interfaces were created between inlet and outlet domain such that it will create three domains, domain one (inlet), domain two (Outlet), domain three (Body).
