Abstract

This articles is study about the characterization of nut and bolt. Design standards and reticulated scripture have associated herewith after factory acceptance test (FAT) classes. Henceforth bolt and nut script has protocoled from accessible region merged fame from three multi-international continental design standards. These are the American Bridge Design Specifications AASHTO: 2012, the European Standard EN 1993-1-9:2005 and British Standard BS 7608:2014. Frequent applicability of bolted connection has scriptive issued from assigned agencies towards constructions. Support structures for offshore wind turbines has equipped herewith, from bolted ring-flanges that has been connected between tower segments or between tower and sub-structures, given by, jackets, tripods, and floating structure.
