Enhancing Traffic Flow and Pedestrian Safety with Foot Over Bridges

Abstract


Recent advancements in foot over bridge design have seen the increased use of sophisticated analytical methods, high-quality materials, and innovative bridge concepts. Foot over bridges are becoming a popular choice in urban areas of India, providing pedestrians with a safe and convenient way to cross roads without encountering traffic. The aim of this project is to design a steel foot over bridge at VARTAK NAGAR NAKA POKHRAN ROAD NO.1, leveraging the latest advancements in design technology As there is huge traffic congestion during peak hour which makes difficult for the pedestrian to cross the road so we are going to design steel bridges. Steel is recognized as the ideal material for bridge construction due to its strength and durability. Choosing a steel bridge over a steel column enhances the speed of construction while still meeting all requirements. The foot over bridge is L-shape steel bridge with the span of 80m+30m in this project, our fob is being designed on AUTOCAD and the analysis will be done using STAAD PRO software.
